The Max Bell Centre (commonly Max Bell Arena) is a year round sports arena featuring lacrosse in the spring and summer months and hockey for the balance of the year. This first class air conditioned facility is operated by the City of Calgary and is located at 1001 Barlow Trail SE, in the Southeast Community of Radisson Heights. It seats 2,121, for lacrosse, with a standing room capacity of over 3,000. It is named after Max Bell, a philanthropist who was a prominent businessman in Calgary.
The Max Bell Centre hosted curling and short track speed skating events at the 1988 Winter Olympics. Presently, the arena hosts Rocky Mountain Lacrosse League games and is home to the Okotoks Raiders Junior A Lacrosse team and the Calgary Canucks of the Alberta Junior Hockey League.
